This policy describes how DeWitt Home Services, LLC handles information collected through this website and your privacy choices, including text messaging.

Information you provide

When you request an estimate, we collect the contact and project information you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, city or ZIP code, property address, selected service, and message. The request also includes its originating page and available campaign information. Please do not include financial account details or other sensitive information in the message field.

How we use and share information

We use this information to respond to inquiries, arrange estimates, manage home projects, maintain customer records, and communicate about DeWitt services and promotions subject to your preferences and applicable requirements. Our website sends estimate requests to Leap, our customer management provider. Hosting, communications, and other service providers may process information to support these functions. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect rights and security.

Cookies and analytics

For visitors identified as being in the United States, optional analytics and advertising are on unless you opt out. For other or unknown locations, these stay off until you select “Accept optional cookies.” We honor saved opt-outs and Global Privacy Control signals. When enabled, Google Analytics helps us measure page visits and actions such as contact-link clicks and estimate submissions. Google may process device, browser, network, and usage information and use analytics cookies. We exclude page query strings and fragments from configured page URLs and do not send contact-form field values to Analytics, apart from the selected service. You can reject optional cookies and still use the website and request estimates. Use Cookie Settings or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer to opt out or change your choice. Opting out disables our Analytics collection and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site; it does not delete information previously collected by Google. We remember an opt-out in browser local storage until you change it or clear that storage. An explicit acceptance is remembered for up to 180 days. Closing the U.S. notice only dismisses it; it is not recorded as consent. Clearing storage or changing browsers removes the saved preference. We use the hosting service’s approximate country information to choose the notice; we do not request precise location.

Necessary website functions, hosting and security services, and external resources such as fonts may still process technical information needed to deliver the website. Cookie choices do not control information you voluntarily submit in a form.

Meta advertising and website audiences

When optional tracking is enabled under the choices described above, Meta Pixel measures page visits and service-page activity for advertising measurement and website visitor audiences. This can help DeWitt show relevant Facebook and Instagram ads to eligible visitors, including people who reached our website through search or directly. Meta may receive page addresses, browser, device and network information, advertising click identifiers, and cookie identifiers. We disable automatic event configuration in our website code and do not intentionally send free-text project messages or property addresses to Meta.

If the server integration is enabled, and optional tracking is allowed by your privacy choices, our server may also send Meta a Lead event after an estimate request is confirmed as delivered to Leap. This can include a matching event identifier, selected service, browser and network information, and hashed email and phone information for matching and measurement. Hashing is not anonymization. Meta tracking follows the U.S. opt-out and other-location opt-in settings described above. It is not enabled when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can opt out in Cookie Settings or through “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” This stops sharing through our website advertising integration for cross-context behavioral advertising. Withdrawal stops new tracking from our integration and clears accessible Meta cookies; if Meta code has loaded, we reload the page to stop it. Withdrawal does not delete information previously received by Meta. Advertising delivery and matching are not guaranteed for every visitor.

When optional tracking is enabled, we also retain campaign labels in browser session storage while you navigate, so an estimate can include its source campaign. That record expires after 30 days or when the browser session ends, whichever comes first. Rejecting optional cookies clears the saved record. Campaign labels on the estimate page can still accompany the inquiry itself. Cookie acceptance does not enroll you in SMS or email marketing.

Facebook and Instagram quote forms

When you request a quote through our Facebook or Instagram instant forms, we receive the name, email, phone number and service choice you submit, along with form and advertising reference information. Our delivery service sends your request to Leap so DeWitt can contact you and arrange your quote. Delivery records help prevent duplicate requests and identify delivery problems. Contact fields in those delivery records are removed during routine processing after 30 days; customer records in Leap follow our customer and project retention practices. Mailchimp signup and marketing features

When enabled on the site, Mailchimp signup and marketing features follow the optional-tracking choices above. Cookie choices do not subscribe you to email or SMS messages. Mailchimp may process browser, device and usage information and information you choose to provide through its forms. Rejecting optional cookies prevents this script from loading. If you withdraw permission after it has loaded, we reload the page to stop it running; this does not delete information already collected or unsubscribe you from email. Our estimate forms continue to send project inquiries to Leap.

Flyer QR codes

Some printed flyers contain a unique booking link. Our private flyer register associates that link with the delivery property, route and campaign. When the link is opened, our tracker records the flyer identifier, time and whether the request appears to be an automated preview or test, then redirects to our Setmore booking page with non-personal campaign and flyer identifiers. Our flyer tracker does not store IP addresses or device fingerprints or set tracking cookies. An open does not identify the person using the flyer or confirm an appointment. Hosting providers may process technical information needed to deliver the link, and Setmore has its own privacy practices. Contact us using the details below to ask about a flyer record.

Communications and your choices

Website cookie and advertising choices are separate from consent to promotional communications. To request that DeWitt stop promotional outreach, use an unsubscribe option where provided or contact us using the details below. We may still communicate about an active inquiry or project where appropriate.

Retention, security, and privacy requests

Retention depends on the purpose of the information, customer and project needs, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or discuss any privacy rights available to you under applicable law, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request, and legal or operational requirements may limit what we can delete.

When you opt in to our text messaging service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.

By opting in to messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from DeWitt Home Services LLC. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or another number that you designate.

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with DeWitt Home Services LLC. We reserve the right to increase or decrease message frequency and to change the short code, phone number, or alphanumeric sender used to send messages.

Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cancellation

Messages will provide instructions to unsubscribe by texting STOP or through an included link. After you unsubscribe, we will send a message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no more messages will be sent through the messaging program. If you would like to receive messages from DeWitt Home Services LLC again, sign up as you did the first time.

Transfer of number

Informing us of these changes is a condition of using this messaging service.
